About the Author

Professor Friedland specializes in the areas of international business and taxation, and he is a well-known expert on partnerships, limited liability companies, and international joint ventures. He has served as director of DePaul's Graduate Tax Law Program, worked for the chief counsel of the Internal Revenue Service, and practiced law in Denver.
