Industrial espionage is a threat as the billion dollar hog industry races to build the better pig. But it's hard to close ranks when a head (belonging to a member of the local tea-party movement) is found floating with the pigs - just downstream from the hog processing plant. Reporter P.R. (Peri) Mason's only experience with the pig so far has been the countless barbecue dinners she's consumed while covering the local city council. But that's all about to change as she finds out about living "High On The Hog." Mason has her own style of sleuthing which takes her further into the underbelly of the swine industry. As she becomes more focused on the trail, she disregards the signs of danger as she gets closer to the truth.
