- Biographical Sketch of Creators:
On March 5, 2007, a car bomb was exploded on Mutanabbi Street, the historic center of bookselling in Baghdad and a center of the Baghdad literary community, which holds bookstores, outdoor bookstalls, cafes and stationery shops. The Mutanabbi Street Coalition, a group of poets, writers, artists, letterpress printers and booksellers, issued a call to book artists to work on a project to "reassemble" some of the "inventory" of reading material lost in the bombing. This artists' book is a contribution to that project.
