The item's shape suggests a classical architectural column, title appeas on left side o f column. The column opens in jagged edge to reveal a railroad track-like hanging appendage with a folded sheet of white paper paint-washed in peach attached. Intitials LR are collaged on verso of sheet. The top part of the track is pasted to the back of the inside of the column. The folded sheet contains the poem by Laura Ruiz. Back of column has picture of Vigía lamp with cord attached at its base. At end of cord, tag with designer and number of copy is knotted. Back of column also contains publisher and collection information.
